Mike is thirty!

Today Mike hits the big three-o! I'm putting together a list of reasons why we love him. If you know him, post a reason why you think he is great!

Oh, I was going to email you stuff anyway, but now I'll just write it on here. Reasons why Mike is awesome and deserves to have made it to 30 years:

1. Hello Happiness. He seems to always be upbeat and in a good mood. Even when he seems to have had a long day. There seems little sadness when Mike's around.
2. Mr. Righteous. Luckily, not self-righteous. He takes the gospel really serious. Serious enough to go to all the meetings, even the ones other husbands aren't as interested in going to.
3. Party Animal. He's always up for being with people, cracking jokes, laughing, and just plain having fun. No boredom with Mr. Waters in the house.
4. He seems very kind. I've never heard him speak badly about others. He is really considerate of others, and doesn't exploit others.
5. As far as we can tell he's a good husband and father. At least we haven't seen you guys with bruises and/or black eyes (like some ladies in the ward - just kidding).

I'm sure there are more things, but I don't want others to feel bad that they can't think of as many things.

We love you guys, too, and hope that Mike will have a fantastic birthday, even though you can't celebrate with us around. ;)

I love Mike because he's 30 now and I can make fun of him the same way he made fun on me two years ago. Mike, you should have learned by now that 2 years is nothing and that you shouldn't dump on people when you're just two years away from being dumped on yourself.

But I love you Mike and if you need therapy I'm here for you. Things get better after 30 I've discovered. You know, "THINGS". Wink, wink. Nudge, nudge.

Don't edit me Kari.

great teacher - we loved his lessons (and yours) in GD. One of our fav. memories of Mike is when we were reading about the creation and mike could not stop laughing everytime it said, "waters" like "He divided the waters" - he thought it was so funny. We laugh about that everytime we hear the word "waters"
