Here's my ode to our lender
who sits, with great splendor
having power to say
"yea" or "nay."
Make haste, if you please
give my mind greater ease
the slow pace of this loan
I cannot condone.
With a house contract signed
and communication misaligned
our fears will abound
til the lender is found.
This wait is too long,
we fear it'll end wrong
our good credit is sown
please approve the loan!

Kari, that is sooo amusing, but you have got to get this loan thing out of your head for awhile ;) We are praying for you and let me know when we can have Bailey and Avery over to play so you can go do something/anything to get your mind off this whole situation for a bit.
Ha! I say no loans if it inspires creative writing. I'm sorry this is so stressful though. It'll all work out in the end though, house or not - at least as long as you keep writing odes.
